Job Title: Head of Information Technology Infrastructure

The organization supplies forged components to sectors such as railways, heavy engineering, power, oil & gas, and industrial machinery. Role Summary:

The Head IT will be responsible for leading the overall technology strategy and IT operations of the organization. The role involves managing enterprise IT infrastructure, driving SAP implementation and optimization, strengthening cyber security frameworks, and enabling digital

transformation initiatives across plant and corporate functions. The individual will work closely with senior management to ensure that technology supports business growth, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall IT strategy and technology roadmap for the organization.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems.
• Lead SAP implementation, integration, and optimization across production, supply chain, finance, HR, and other business functions.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives including automation and Industry 4.0 projects in plant operations.
• Implement strong cyber security frameworks including firewalls, endpoint protection, and access control systems.
• Manage IT vendors, hardware suppliers, and software partners including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Oversee IT budgeting, cost optimization, and technology investments aligned with business growth.
• Develop dashboards, reporting systems, and analytics platforms to support management decision-making.
• Lead and mentor IT teams to ensure high performance and strong crossfunctional collaboration.

Qualifications Required:

• B .Tech / M .Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline.
• MCA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Information Technology.

Preferred Experience:

• 20+ years of experience in IT leadership roles
• Experience in manufacturing, steel, or heavy engineering organizations preferred
• Proven experience in SAP / ERP implementation and enterprise system integration
• Strong exposure to cyber security, infrastructure management, and digital transformation initiatives.
