Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview:

Primary focus:

Bangalore office IT build-out and infrastructure setup

Reports into global teams and collaborates across time zones

Requires strong communication skills, documentation ability, and high proactivity.

Wide-ranging experience across:

Servers (multiple OS)

Networking

Security

Desktop support

Vendor coordination

Infrastructure design.

Key Responsibilities (Initial Phase)

Participate in design meetings for office setup.

Oversee:

Server room design and layout

Data and power cabling

Infrastructure provisioning

Coordinate with local vendors (Internet, cloud connectivity, etc.)

Rack and cable equipment onsite

Pre-provision hardware before global teams finalize remotely

Gather requirements from Bangalore-based teams (labs, project rooms, equipment, etc.)

Work Model:

Standard India business hours (with flexibility)

Onsite presence mandatory

Potential hybrid model longer term

Some flexibility required for global coordination and occasional out-of-hours support.
