About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to lead and manage core IT infrastructure, security, and support operations. This role requires a strong technical foundation, leadership capabilities, and the ability to scale systems to support a growing organization. Youll also mentor junior team members and ensure smooth day-today IT operations.

This role requires working in rotational shifts across the following timings:

6:30 AM to 2:00 PM

9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Manager IT infrastructure, including servers (on-premises and cloud), networks, and endpoints.

Implement, monitor, and upgrade security protocols (firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection).

Oversee system configuration, performance monitoring, and hardware/software troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.

Manage and optimize VMware and other virtualization platforms.

Design and implement network topology, routing protocols, and switch configurations.

Administer Active Directory, group policies, and user access control.

Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and system integrity policies are enforced.

Prepare documentation, SOPs, and IT asset inventory.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT needs and improvements.

Mentor junior IT support engineers and handle escalations.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend relevant upgrades or changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, CCNA, MCSA, or similar.

Experience in a startup or fast-paced tech-driven organization is a plus.

Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation is an added advantage
