Position Overview

We are looking for a proactiveIT Assistant to support our IT operations. This role will focus on helping set up and maintain basic network systems, configure computers, install software, and provide first-level technical assistance to staff. Its an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, support-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and maintaining office IT infrastructure, including computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Help configure internal networks, Wi-Fi systems, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Install, update, and configure software applications on desktops and laptops.
• Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware and software issues.
• Ensure systems are secure by applying updates, patches, and basic security settings.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets, licenses, and accessories.
• Support onboarding of new employees by setting up user accounts and required applications.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors for specialized support when needed.
• Document technical procedures and support activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common office software.
• Familiarity with network basics (LAN/Wi-Fi setup) and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills with a helpful and patient approach to user support.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.
• Ability to multitask and respond promptly to support requests.
• Professional attitude and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Willingness to grow into more advanced IT responsibilities over time.
