JOB POSITION

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a highly creative and meticulous Team Lead, who will be responsible for all design requirements for our leader communications.  The incumbent will report to Manager – Communications and must understand the design process, liaising with multiple stakeholders to understand the brief and deliver all in-house design requirements, while ensuring brand guidelines are followed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Conceptualizing Visual Stories.
• Creating a clear and compelling narrative through visuals, considering the target audience and message.
• Data Interpretation: Analyzing data to identify key insights and translating them into visually engaging infographics.
• Designing Infographics: Using design software/tools to create visually appealing infographics that simplify complex information.
• Content Creation: Collaborating with content creators, writers, and subject matter experts to integrate visuals seamlessly with written content.
• Storytelling Techniques: Applying storytelling principles to engage and convey on an emotional level.
• Data Visualization: Proficiency in choosing appropriate chart types and visualization techniques to convey data effectively.
• Research: Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in data visualization and visual storytelling.
• Feedback Incorporation: Gathering feedback from stakeholders and incorporating revisions to improve the impact of visuals.
• Project Management: Managing multiple projects, deadlines, and resources effectively.
• Quality Control: Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output in all visual materials.
• Data Security: Handling sensitive data responsibly and in compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Presentation Skills: Presenting visual content effectively to teams, clients, or the public. Keen interest in photography/video shoots/studio operations

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in design/marketing
• Degree in any Engineering Stream (Prefer: CSE, IT, ECE)

EXPERIENCE

• At least 10 years of relevant experience
• Must have knowledge in Infographics.
• Well experienced in visual story telling.
• Ability for quick turn arounds on MS PowerPoint decks for the senior leadership
• Proven skills on MS Excel (to create charts and graphs from raw data) and Sharepoint
• Understand health care, data insights especially in service experience area is a plus
• Very strong communication skills

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools to create visually appealing and effective infographics.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Sharepoint
• Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills 
• Ability to interpret data and translate it into clear, informative visual representations.
• Detailed-oriented with strong documentation and tracking skills 
• View challenges as opportunities and offer potential solutions 
• The capability to tell a compelling story or convey a message through visuals and concise text.
• A keen interest in photography and video shoots
• Innovative thinking to come up with unique and engaging infographic concepts.
• Lead by example, modeling Carelon values in everything you do 
• Familiarity with software and tools for creating and editing images, charts, and graphs.
• Flexibility to adjust to different design styles and adapt to overlapping working hours with US team.
• Effectively communicate with Onsite leads and managers for status, metrics, and issues on a regular basis
• Storyboarding: Planning the layout and flow of the infographic content before design.
• Provide and leverage data to guide decisions and influence partners 
• Manage multiple, simultaneous tasks or requests with speed, accuracy, and agility 
• Take personal responsibility for developing new skills and learning about the business 
• Promote an open and inclusive culture where people of all backgrounds feel appreciated, engaged, and valued 
• Train less experienced team members, either formally or informally, on work processes and industry knowledge 
• Ask thought-provoking questions that help teammates think through problems 
• Ask your manager and key stakeholders for feedback regularly on how you can be more effective
