Required Technical Skill Set: Industry Advisor –Hi-tech/CPG/Pharma/Retail

Desired Competencies
Must-Have:
13+ years of experience in manufacturing / plant operations (across any of the industries Energy -Upstream, Pharma, Hi-Tech, Retail and CPG) as a business consultant
• Functional experience in one or more of plant operations, manufacturing/shop floor execution, supply chain, procurement, warehouse management and related processes with emphasis on digital and intelligent technologies.
• Implementation experience of manufacturing operation projects.
• Experience working with business teams to engage in strategic, growth and transformational topics.
• Must have deep understanding of IoT / Industry 4.0 / plant solutions.
• Must have worked/ or have a good understanding of areas such as Supply chain, Quality, EHS.
• Worked across industries & partner products.
• Prior experience in engaging with CX level
• Good understanding of key digital technologies, like IoT, AI/ML, AR-VR etc.
• A good understanding of technology trends, market forces and industry imperatives
Good-to-Have:
• Hands on work experience in the industry
• Result-focused and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Entrepreneurial and is comfortable working in a complex and fast-paced environment.
• Experience in working with distributed teams are highly desired.
• Fluent in English and are a confident communicator
Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role:
• Execute digital consulting strategies for IoT & Digital Engineering operations in the named industry.
• Nurture and maintain a “best in class” positioning of the advisory unit by developing contemporary assets and frameworks and deploying skills in the context of the customer
• Deep understanding of the latest technology trends and leading products for plant services and solutions
• Develop thought leadership assets, articulate / envision the Future Factory
• Actively participate in leading industry events and forums and be recognized as a thought leader.
• Work closely with sales/ presales teams to lead client connects for consulting proposals and strategic large-scale transformation programs.
• Ensure execution excellence of all advisory engagements by leveraging best practices/ assets across projects/ programs.
• Drive growth through advisory engagements and downstream engagements.
