Industrial Relations Manager

designation / Role - Manager HR +IR

Client - Mid Sized Swiss MNC focused on manufacturing machines .

Location - Bangalore

Required Exp - 9-11 years

Education - MSW / MBA in HR or PGDBA HR

Reporting to Global HR Head

This role leads the full employee lifecycle and ensures a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. Acting as the key HR partner and consult the business on site, the role supports recruitment, development, performance, and engagement while aligning HR practices with business goals.

Recruitment & Staffing

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.

Employee Relations

• Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers at the site for HR topics
• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Training & Development

• Identify skill gaps and create training programs.
• Coordinate employee learning and development initiatives (with functional Global Heads and Head of Departments, as well as externals).

Performance Managements

• Advising and enabling managers on performance management and how to become more effective

Compensation & Benefits

• Provide HR related inputs for Finance to administer payroll
• Manage benefits and incentive programs

Compliance & HR & IR Policies

• Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Settlement (annually)
• Dealing with external stakeholders (to fulfill all statutory requirements)
• Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
• Designing and implementing local training & development initiatives

Core Competencies -

Strategic HR mindset: organizational development & change management (experience to drive change within the organization is highly important)

Industrial Relations: Factorys Act, Contract Labor, PF, ESI, PT

Language Requirements :- Very good skills verbally and written in English and Kannada
