Job Description & Summary
As part of the Financial Services & Treasury Management Competency, the candidate will be responsible for leveraging deep expertise in core Treasury Markets functions to support front office operations across Banking Treasury activities. This role demands strong market knowledge and operational experience within Treasury dealing/trading, ALM/Risk management, liquidity, and interest rate risk in the banking sector, with a regional focus on APAC.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and execute Treasury Front Office activities encompassing Dealing/Trading, Operations, ALM/Risk, Liquidity management, and IRRBB/NIM.
· Provide strategic insights and practical expertise on Treasury Markets dynamics, products, and risk factors.
· Drive client engagements requiring hands-on Treasury market knowledge to deliver innovative, value-added solutions.
· Ensure seamless coordination and collaboration across teams to optimize Treasury operations and enhance client satisfaction.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging best practices impacting Treasury Markets
Good to have requirements:
· Candidate should have a background from Tier 1 academic institutions.
· Prior experience at leading banks
· Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively engage with internal stakeholders and clients
· Currently based in Mumbai, willing to relocate to Bangalore, with initial flexibility for Mumbai-based work and frequent travel to Bangalore for client meetings.
Mandatory Skill Sets:
· Treasury Front Office experience including Dealing/Trading, Operations, ALM/Risk, Liquidity management, IRRBB/NIM.
· Strong understanding and practical knowledge of Treasury Markets.
· Experience working in APAC Treasury markets.
· Academic background from a top-tier 1 institution.
· Prior experience in front office Treasury roles at leading banks such as DBS, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak, Standard Chartered Bank, or Citigroup.
· Candidates based in Mumbai with willingness to relocate to Bangalore and travel as required.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
