Job Description & Summary:
As a Director in Regulatory Compliance and Advisory for Financial Services, you will play a crucial leadership role in interpreting regulatory circulars and RBI expectations. You will guide NBFCs and Banks by providing strategic insights and advice on a retainership basis. Your role includes spearheading compliance risk-related business development, preparing compelling proposals, and fostering key regulatory relationships. Your expertise will ensure the organization's alignment with regulatory standards and enhance its reputation within the financial services sector
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert interpretation of regulatory circulars and RBI expectations to ensure adherence to regulations within NBFCs and Banks.
- Serve as a key advisor, offering insights and RBI's perspectives to financial institutions on a retainership basis.
- Drive business development related to compliance risk by preparing and delivering compelling proposals and services.
- Develop and maintain robust regulatory relationships to effectively advocate and negotiate on behalf of the organization.
Mandatory skill sets:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in regulatory requirements specific to circulars and RBI guidelines.
- Strong advisory skills with the ability to communicate RBI views to various financial entities.
- Proficiency in compliance risk management and business development strategies.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with experience in handling complex regulatory interactions.
Preferred skill sets:
- Advanced understanding of the financial services industry, particularly related to NBFCs and Banks.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, adept at conveying complex regulatory information clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality proposals and deliverables in relation to compliance risk.
Years of experience required:
- A minimum of 20 years + of relevant experience in regulatory compliance and advisory roles within the financial services industry.
Education qualification:
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
