Job Description
Work Hours: Must overlap 23 hours with US time zones (evening IST)
Role Summary:
You will own Markovate's inbound lead engine end-to-end: respond fast, qualify correctly, book intro calls, run structured demos, keep Zoho CRM updated, draft proposal v1 using templates, and drive follow-ups to build a predictable pipeline.
What You Will Own:
Inbound response: reply to new inbound leads quickly with crisp, personalized messaging and clear next steps
Qualification: categorize every lead as SQL / MQL / NMQL / Disqualify based on fit, urgency, authority, and credibility checks (website + LinkedIn)
Scheduling: book intro calls and demos with US prospects (timezone-aware scheduling and reminders)
Intro call: run a structured discovery call, capture requirements, confirm success criteria, and define next steps
Demo: run product demos using a standard narrative (problem workflow value next step)
CRM ownership (Zoho): maintain clean datanotes, next steps, stage updates, follow-up dates, email logs, and pipeline hygiene
Proposal support: draft proposal v1 using Markovate templates and inputs from discovery; coordinate internal review when needed
Follow-up cadence: drive a consistent follow-up process to move deals forward and prevent pipeline leakage
Weekly reporting: share pipeline status, blockers, and next-step actions
Success Metrics (First 6090 Days):
High lead response speed and consistent follow-up discipline
Strong meeting booked + show-up rate
Clear qualification quality (right deals in pipeline)
Accurate CRM hygiene and stage progression
Proposal-to-next-step conversion improvement
Must-Have Skills:
13 years experience in B2B inside sales / SDR / inbound sales (SaaS or tech services preferred)
Strong written English: can write short, high-clarity emails to US customers
Strong spoken English: confident running intro calls and demos on Zoom/Meet
CRM discipline: has used a CRM daily (Zoho/HubSpot/Salesforce) and treats CRM as the source of truth
Self-starter: operates independently with minimal supervision; strong follow-through
Nice-to-Have:
Experience selling to US/Canada customers
Experience in AI/automation, software services, or B2B SaaS
Familiar with sales cadence tools, sequencing, and basic sales ops hygiene
