Job Description & Summary: A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculation of Net Present Value and Internal Rate of Return
  • Preparation of comparatives for cost benefit analysis
  • Detailed modelling to enable Lease Vs Buy decision-making
  • Validation of repayment schedules received from a vendor
  • Signing of schedules/ arranging of KYC
  • Ensuring monthly pay-out and reconciliation of monthly invoices with 100% accuracy and taking care of necessary statutory compliances like TDS, GST etc.
  • Uploading new repayment schedules timely into the system after checking
  • Submission of lease data to stakeholders every month
  • Accounting for expense and prepaid entry before monthly GL closure
  • Preparing GL Schedules and dashboards for MIS purposes
  • Liaison with employees throughout the organization to propagate the lease process and resolve queries
  • Passing JVs in oracle to ensure proper books of accounts
  • Ensure proper and timely documentation with leasing vendors
  • Execute continuous process improvement
  • Internal/External stakeholder management
  • Understand Oracle Applications and navigations of various applications
  • Ensuring quality and SLA management by following various governance mechanism to ensure a 100% track record
  • Ensuring monthly review meetings with Controllers & process leads
  • Coordinating with team members to deliver team requirements by working together
  • Resolving stakeholders’ queries timely and accurately
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Mandatory skill sets:

Strong accounting knowledge & background Excellent written and verbal skills are a mandatory requirement Have an extremely strong attention to detail, with the ability to easily spot errors, inconsistencies, and other issues Inquisitive in nature, and intuition regarding what questions to ask, when, and their relative significance The ability to build relationships with team members and various stakeholders Energetic, highly motivated, with an inquiring mind and passion for excellence The ability to use initiative and work proactively with the business team. Proficiency in MS Office applications and ORACLE

Preferred skill sets:

Commercially aware with the ability to understand various business models and service offerings. Ability to empathize with stakeholders needs and concerns. Ability to frame threats, risks, and exposures in a business context
