Job Description & Summary:
 

PWC LLP is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Manager with a strong background in sales delivery, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and deep domain expertise in the Indian insurance market. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, leading strategic engagements, and advising insurance clients on digital transformation, technology adoption, and process optimization, with a proven track record of driving business growth and delivering successful client engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and converting business opportunities within the Indian insurance sector.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for technology consulting solutions tailored to insurers.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to craft compelling value propositions, proposals, and RFP responses.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with CXOs, business leaders, and IT heads across insurance firms
• Delivery & Engagement Leadership
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and design tailored technology solutions that address their challenges
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability in project execution.
  • Act as the primary client advisor, ensuring seamless stakeholder engagement and issue resolution.      
• Industry Expertise & Thought Leadership
  •  Leverage deep domain expertise in life, general, and health insurance to develop insights-driven solutions.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes, emerging technologies (AI, cloud, analytics, Insurtech), and market trends in the Indian insurance landscape.
  • Conduct market research, publish whitepapers, and represent the company at industry forums and conferences.

• Collaboration & Team Leadership
  • Partner with internal teams across technology, operations, and product development to create innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Work closely with global and regional teams to leverage best practices and frameworks.

• Minimum of 10 plus years of experience in insurance technology consulting, with at least 5 years in a senior management role and specifically having Indian insurance market.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record in sales, pre-sales, and GTM strategy execution
• Strong experience in delivering large-scale technology transformation programs for insurance clients.
• Deep understanding of insurance processes, core platforms (e.g., Policy Admin, Claims, Underwriting, Distribution, CRM, Core Insurance Systems), and regulatory landscape.
• Exposure to emerging technologies like AI/ML, RPA, cloud, blockchain, and insurtech solutions is preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in working with Tier-1 consulting firms, IT service providers, or insurtech companies is a plus.
