Responsibilities:

•Designing and developing: Creating software robots, or "bots", that can mimic human actions and interact with applications

•Testing and deploying: Testing automated solutions and deploying RPA components

•Collaborating: Working with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs

•Supporting: Supporting the launch and implementation of RPA solutions, and assisting with quality assurance

•Documenting: Creating process and end-user documentation, and producing test documentation

•Maintaining: Creating, maintaining, and supporting existing robots

•Developing libraries: Developing and maintaining RPA framework libraries

•Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting production issues

Mandatory skill sets:

•Debugging and testing

RPA developers need to know how to determine which tests should be performed and how frequently.

•Adaptability

RPA developers need to be able to remain flexible and innovative in diverse situations.

•Attention to detail

RPA developers need to be able to identify and rectify even the minutest of errors.

•RPA platform skills

RPA developers need experience with RPA tools, such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.

•RPA certification

RPA certification is often required for employment
