Job Description & Summary: A career in Procurement, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and manage the procurement of all goods and services required by PwC for operational and strategic purposes. As a part of the team, you’ll assist in developing our standard practices and compliance infrastructure, managing relationships for both internal clients and suppliers to aid in the strategic selection of suppliers, supplier diversity, and contract negotiations.

As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for the acquisition of services and capital equipment and goods. We serve as the relationship manager for both internal clients and suppliers by seeking appropriate solutions for all sourcing needs, creating, reviewing, and negotiating contractual arrangements through thought leadership, subject matter specialisation, and strategic advising.

As a Senior Associate (Asst. Manager), you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to: 

Responsible for strategic procurement of IT category 

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems
  • Identify procurement best practices and develop continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost efficiencies using broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends. 
  • Develop innovative approaches to sourcing while using analytics and processes to determine scenarios, benefits, risks and change management impact of each of those options
  • Seek and embrace opportunities which give exposure to different situations, environments and perspectives
  • Influence and establish the relationship with the business stakeholders for the assigned projects explaining the reason for recommendation
  • Manage sourcing activities by preparing, issuing and evaluating bid and RFx requests
  • Collaborate with legal and internal business clients to prepare, analyze, negotiate, and revise various types of commercial contracts (such as master agreements, supply agreements, NDA, and statements of work)
  • Provide analytical & reporting support focusing on team performance that will enable improvements to oversight, controls, efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
