Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities: 

· ETL Testing: Develop and execute test cases for ETL processes, ensuring accurate data transformation, loading, and extraction. Validate data integrity and consistency across various stages of ETL pipelines.

· Cloud Based Services: Knowledge about data related services for leading cloud service providers (AWS/Azure) to test and validate ETL processes. · Data Related Concepts: Should have knowledge and understanding of data lake and date warehouse concepts.

· Test Planning: Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and create detailed test plans and scenarios. Identify test data requirements and prepare test data as needed.

· Automation: Demonstrated experience of automating tests across multiple platforms and technologies and understand its application throughout the full development lifecycle.

· Issue Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects or issues in the ETL process. Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely manner.

· Reporting: Generate and present test reports, including test results, defect reports, and test coverage metrics. Provide feedback on ETL processes and recommend improvements based on test findings.

· Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that ETL solutions meet business needs and quality standards. Participate in meetings and provide input on data quality and testing best practices. Skills:

· Proficiency in data services of any leading cloud providers like AWS, Azure · Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data integration.

· Experience with SQL and scripting languages for data validation and testing. · Familiarity with test automation tools and practices.

· Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets and perform data profiling.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with Cloud DevOps for CI/CD integration.

· Certifications in cloud technologies or related data technologies.
