Job Description & Summary: The role is for an experienced life actuarial professional with prior work experience in at least one of the areas -  IFRS 17 / Ind AS 117 implementation, Statutory Valuation, Pricing, Shareholder Reporting, Business Planning, Prophet Modelling, preferably in the Indian life insurance industry.

You will be providing high-quality consulting and technical services to our clients both in India and overseas. The role offers the opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, growing consulting team focused on solving challenging problems through collaboration and team effort.

Focusing on life insurance, you will be involved in managing, working on, and engaging with clients for actuarial consulting projects across multiple streams such as IFRS 17 implementation & assurance, audit reviews, M&A due diligence, etc. You will also be involved in designing new propositions for actuarial services to be offered to clients in the insurance industry and beyond.

Responsibilities:

Project ownership and delivery
Work independently on deliverables.

Interact with clients and make presentations

Mandatory skill sets:

Thorough understanding of life insurance products, Indian statutory requirements, shareholder reporting 
Excellent knowledge of Excel

Strong communication skills

Prior experience in at least one of the following areas - Statutory Valuation, Pricing, Shareholder, IFRS 17 / Ind AS 117 Reporting, Business Planning, Prophet Modelling

Preferred skill sets:

Prior experience of working in the India domestic market through insurance or consulting preferred
Working knowledge of Prophet, Python and / or VBA preferred
 

Years of experience required:

3.5 or more years of experience in Insurance or Consulting Firms in Life Domain

Education qualification:

6+ actuarial papers including CM1
