Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP CAP on SAP BTP.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into technical designs.
Implement business logic using CAP, Node.js, and OData services.
Integrate SAP BTP applications with other SAP solutions and third-party systems.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment guides.
Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance on the cloud platform.
Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP features and CAP enhancements, recommending best practices and innovation opportunities.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud applications.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.

*Mandatory skill sets

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in SAP development, with a focus on cloud solutions.
Proven experience with SAP BTP and the CAP model.
Strong programming skills in Node.js and JavaScript.
Experience with OData services, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
SAP certification in BTP or related areas is a plus.

*Preferred skill sets

Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its integration with SAP BTP.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
