Job Description & Summary: A career within PWC

Responsibilities:

Role: SQL Server Integration Service - Architect Key Responsibilities:

· Team leading: Need to lead the delivery track, coordinate with client Architect, Present architectural solutions to client stakeholders. Guide the team members, review the code, establish the technology best practices.

· Designing and Developing SSIS Packages: Creating and modifying SSIS packages to move and transform data between different systems, including databases, files, and other sources. 

· ETL Processes: Implementing ETL workflows to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it into data warehouses or other target systems. 

· SQL Development: Writing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers in SQL Server to support the SSIS packages and data transformations. 

· Data Warehousing: Working with data warehouse concepts like schemas, facts, and dimensions, and designing ETL solutions for data warehousing. 

· Reporting: Potentially developing reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) or other reporting tools to visualize and analyze data processed by SSIS. 

· Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of ETL processes through unit testing, system testing, and other quality assurance activities. 

· Troubleshooting and Support: Identifying and resolving issues with SSIS packages and ETL processes, providing support to users, and maintaining documentation. 

· Performance Optimization: Tuning SSIS packages and SQL code to optimize performance and ensure efficient data loading. 

· Data Quality: Building processes to validate and cleanse data during the ETL process, ensuring high-quality data for reporting and analysis. 

· Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for SSIS packages, ETL processes, and related configurations.  Team leading: Need to lead the delivery track, coordinate with client Architect , Present architectural solutions to client stakeholders. Guide the team members ,review the code , establish the technology best practices.

Skill and Experience:

· Microsoft SQL Server: Strong understanding of SQL Server database concepts, T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.  Nede more than 10+ years of experience.

· SSIS: Proficiency in designing, developing, and deploying SSIS packages. 

· ETL Processes: Experience with ETL methodologies and best practices. 

· Data Warehousing: Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, schemas, and dimensional modeling. 

· Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to SSIS packages and ETL processes. 

· Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with business users and other IT teams.
