Job Description & Summary:

Be part of Product Control team covering various product categories and regions. (Asset classes: FX/FXO, Rates, Fixed Income, Credit, Commodities, Treasury etc.)

Responsibilities:

Product Control Skills:

· Be part of Product Control team covering various product categories and regions. (Asset classes: FX/FXO, Rates, Fixed Income, Credit, Commodities, Treasury etc.)

· Ensure appropriate controls and reviews are maintained for Daily P&L production, Core reconciliations, Month end close and BSS.

· Ensure the teams are performing timely lockdown of daily and monthly P&L.

· Review monthly/quarterly balance sheet, with substantiation and potential financial exposure.

· Review various reconciliation reports, management packs and ad-hoc reports.

· Review of month end Journals for accrual, provision and true up.

· Support change project initiatives and conduct User Acceptance Testing for enhancements to current systems or migration to new system.

· Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a robust control environment in respect of daily P&L reporting, P&L attribution, and balance sheet substantiation.

· Independently assess the valuation and associated uncertainty of all assets and liabilities within the respective businesses, specifically continuing the evolution and ensuring the integrity of the IPV and Fair Value reserving processes. Design, implement and maintain policies and procedures for model risk, calibration risk and implementation risk reserving.

· Develop and execute appropriate procedures for Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Substantiation.

· Should have solid experience in complete onboarding of an accounting subledger, strategic front to back technology systems stack and into Finance accounting and reporting systems.

· Strong knowledge of accounting rules

· Strong quantitative analytical skills and understanding of financial modelling.

· Strong Control mindset

· Strong Product knowledge at across the core business products.

· Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and negotiating skills.

Business Analyst Skills:

· Lifecycle management - Requirement gathering, elicitation, prioritization and documentation - BRDs, FRDs, As-Is vs To-be (Current vs Future state) / Gap Analysis and Process modelling, etc.

· Functional and User Acceptance Testing, Test Scenarios and Test Conditions, End to End (Integration)

· Pre-Production support, Go-Live Support, Approvals and Sign-Offs; Agile & Waterfall

· Relevant experience in implementing process as well as system change for Finance. Strong analysis skills, IT change management, communication/ interpersonal, documentation, stakeholder management and teamwork skills required.

· Strong understanding of Finance processes (Product Control, Group and Regulatory reporting)

· Strong knowledge of sub-ledger and product accounting lifecycle.

· Proficient in SQL and MS Office including Advanced Excel.
