Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Control Office Associate with a strong background in legal and risk assessment. The ideal candidate will support our data control initiatives by ensuring compliance with legal requirements, reviewing contracts, and staying abreast of evolving data laws and policies both in India and globally. This role is crucial in safeguarding our organization against legal risks associated with data handling and management.

Contract Review and Management:
- Review, analyze, and interpret a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to data control and management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to negotiate terms that align with the organization's legal and risk management strategies.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of all contracts and ensure timely renewals and compliance checks.
Legal Compliance and Risk Assessment:
- Monitor and interpret changes in data protection laws and regulations in India and globally, advising the Chief Data Officer and relevant teams on necessary adjustments to policies and practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential legal risks associated with data management.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, India’s IT Act, and other relevant regulations.
