Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entry process including accounting testing
• Issue triaging skills, with an analytical mindset for troubleshooting and problem solving
• Ability to work with Large data sets and identify data discrepancies
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to document findings clearly
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Mandatory skill sets:

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting testing, financial data validation or related roles
• Hands on experience with SQL for data retrieval and analysis (intermediate proficiency)
• Working knowledge of SAP or other similar systems with a focus on accounting modules such as revenue
• Validation of journal entries via SQL based data pulls
• Ability to navigate through complexity, pressing timelines with multiple priorities
• Co-ordinating with cross functional teams
• Tracking, monitoring and reporting of project SLAs

Preferred skill sets:

Client and internal stakeholder management SQL and SAP proficiency Experience with analysis in high volume data environments.
