Are you ready to revolutionize travel payments?
We are looking for a Payment Implementation Engineer, who will be in charge of the end-to-end implementation process for the full range of Payment Payout products and services for their customers (Travel Sellers) assigned. This entails a combination of consulting, project management, industry knowledge and a deep understanding of our customers’ needs.
In this role you’ll:
- Manage standard projects (no gap), and non-standard projects (gap or pilot)
- Be the Primary point of contact with the customer along the implementation process
- Assess customer needs & advice best approach for quick implementation/adoption
- Define, manage and execute the implementation plan including the required technical configuration
- Provide functional and technical support to customers requiring Web Service integrations
- Understand buy-in from customer’s new areas and if necessary, explain the benefits of the solution to them
- Prepare the plan and coordinate all areas involved (Internal teams, Customer & Partners)
- Deliver the demo/training of the products
- Obtain committed delivery timescales internally. Communicate accordingly to Customer, ensure their adherence to the plan and follow up on delivery dates. Provide a regular executive summary covering the risks/issues that need management attention. Be the entry point for escalation
- Ensure that delivered solution or service to customer corresponds to what has been defined in the contract and that customer understands its full capability
- Positively influence the customer, to have full adoption of the product
- Ensures that the solution is working properly, in its full extension, before it is transferred to Customer Care Area.
- Participate in building a strong relationship with Partners and an onboarding process with each of them
- Analyze customer systems and service requirements, implement the Payment Solution and provide technical and functional support to customers
- Go along with the customer until they confirm they are ready to use the Payment Solution
- Work independently with a certain autonomy to solve problems, while ensuring collaboration with other teams when needed.
About the ideal candidate:
- University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of experience in a related function (Delivery Manager / Implementation Manager / Functional Analyst, etc.)
- GDS (Global Distribution System) knowledge
- Experience in Amadeus solutions would be a strong advantage
- Payment business understanding
- Airline and travel business understanding
- Minimum XML knowledge
- English proficiency required; APAC languages like Mandarin, Hindi or Japanese is an asset
- Communicate clearly internally and with customers
- Self-organized and attentive to details
- Ability to proactively propose solutions, raise blocking points and explore sources of information
