Assistant Manager Sales Aluminium Architectural Products


Role Summary


The Assistant Manager Sales will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key client

relationships, and executing business development strategies for aluminium architectural

products such as windows, doors, faades, and cladding. The role requires experience in

product-based companies within the building materials sector, particularly those focused on

aluminium solutions for architectural applications.


Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets for aluminium architectural

products.

Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and key

decision-makers in the construction and real estate sectors.

Identify and develop new business opportunities by expanding the architect and client

network, and managing channel partners.

Oversee the complete sales cycle: product presentations, consultative selling, order

management, material dispatch, and site coordination.

Conduct market research to analyze competitor products, pricing, and market trends.

Coordinate with project management, technical, and logistics teams to ensure timely

delivery and customer satisfaction.

Prepare and present sales performance reports, offers, and estimates; ensure timely

documentation and reporting.

Train and mentor junior sales staff and channel partners to drive sales effectiveness.

Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and compliance standards.

Read and interpret CAD drawings and architectural plans to support technical sales

discussions.


Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, or related field; MBA in Marketing preferred.

57 years of sales experience in product companies dealing with aluminium architectural

products, building materials, or related sectors (e.g. gates and facades).

Proven track record in project sales, business development, and client relationship

management.

Strong knowledge of aluminium systems, architectural products, and construction

industry practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to read and interpret CAD drawings is an

advantage.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently, travel extensively, and manage multiple projects

simultaneously.


Preferred Attributes

Experience in developing architect networks and managing channel partners.

Familiarity with fenestration products and technical sales processes.

High energy, proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills.
