About the Role

TechBlocks is looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and optimization of scalable backend services and microservices. You will work with modern technologies across backend, frontend, cloud, and infrastructure to build reliable, high-performance applications.

This role requires a hands-on full-stack mindset , including development, database management, cloud infrastructure, and automationthere are no dedicated DBAs or DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Optimize existing applications and identify performance improvement opportunities
• Develop and manage SQL queries , database schemas, and data models
• Test, debug, and validate APIs using tools like Postman and IDEs
• Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless service integration
• Mentor and guide junior developers on coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and deployment readiness
• Contribute to automation, monitoring, and infrastructure management

Technical Requirements

Backend

• Java 8+
• Spring Boot, Spring Framework
• RESTful API development
• Database Management (SQL)

Frontend

• Strong experience with Angular (preferred)
• React acceptable
• TypeScript is a plus

Security

• Knowledge of SQL injection prevention
• Application vulnerability checks and secure coding practices

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Terraform scripting is mandatory (console-only AWS experience is not sufficient)
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures and deployments

Full-Stack Expectations

• Hands-on development across backend, frontend, database, DevOps, and automation
• Ability to work independently without reliance on separate DBA or DevOps teams
