IILM University - Senior Government Interface Roles

IILM University is looking for two senior government-interface roles (Full-time / Part-time / Retainer)

1) Chandigarh: Senior Advisor Government Relations & Regulatory Affairs

Location: Chandigarh (on-site/hybrid as required)

Role focus: Higher education liaison, regulatory coordination and institutional submissions.

• Own engagement with Department of Higher Education and other relevant regulators/bodies; manage submissions, follow-ups, meetings/hearings and official correspondence
• Track policy/regulatory updates; translate them into clear internal actions and closures
• Provide crisp weekly status notes (pending items, risks, dependencies)

2) Gurugram: Senior Manager Local Authorities (Corporate Affairs)

Location: Gurugram, Haryana (on-site)

Role focus: Local authorities coordination for smooth campus operations.

• Liaise with local/civic authorities for permissions, NOCs, inspections and operational clearances
• Coordinate site visits/inspections and ensure timely closure of observations/action points
• Maintain trackers for filings/renewals and pending issues; ensure fast follow-through across offices
• Support campus leadership on local operational matters requiring government interface (events, safety, utilities, etc.)

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar Government Relations / Regulatory Affairs / Liaison / Corporate Affairs role with demonstrated ability to get work done through official channels.

What success looks like

• On-time submissions and renewals, clean documentation, fewer escalations, faster closures, and professional stakeholder relationships.
