Job Title: IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled IICS Engineer with expertise in Cloud Application Integration (CAI), Cloud Data Integration (CDI), and other IICS components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing end-to-end data integration and application integration solutions using Informatica's cloud platform. This role requires strong technical expertise in IICS, integration with cloud/on-premise systems, and a deep understanding of enterprise data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

IICS Development and Implementation:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data and application integration solutions using IICS components like CAI and CDI.
• Configure and manage IICS integrations for various data sources, cloud services, and enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle).
• Develop reusable mappings, workflows, and templates to standardize integration processes across projects.

Cloud Application Integration (CAI):

• Build real-time application integrations using CAI to connect enterprise applications via APIs.
• Design and implement API-based workflows for real-time and batch data synchronization between systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot CAI processes to ensure seamless application interoperability.

Cloud Data Integration (CDI):

• Develop and optimize data pipelines for ETL/ELT processes using CDI to manage high-volume and complex data.
• Integrate data across hybrid environments (cloud and on-premise) to support reporting, analytics, and operational needs.
• Ensure efficient data processing and quality control across pipelines.

Integration Architecture and Design:

• Design robust and scalable integration architecture to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with data architects and IT teams to define data integration strategies and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Leverage IICS’s capabilities to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of integration solutions.

Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Monitor the performance of IICS processes and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, application workflows, or system integrations.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to ensure data integrity and system availability.

Data Governance and Quality:

• Enforce data governance policies and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Implement data quality rules and validation checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain metadata management and lineage tracking using IICS features.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members or other project stakeholders.

Documentation and Best Practices:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration workflows, mappings, configurations, and processes.
• Develop and enforce best practices for using IICS components, ensuring consistency and reliability across projects.
• Stay updated on new features and enhancements in the IICS platform to recommend and implement improvements.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), specifically CAI and CDI.
• Proven expertise in developing data and application integration solutions in hybrid environments.
• Experience integrating systems like Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in IICS components, including Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, and Data Quality.
• Strong knowledge of API-based integrations, including REST and SOAP APIs.
• Hands-on experience with data transformation, data modeling, and integration workflows.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related integration tools.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation for integration and workflow orchestration.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

• Ability to analyze complex integration requirements and propose efficient technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve performance or data-related issues.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating across departments and teams.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Informatica certifications, particularly for IICS components like CAI and CDI.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are an added advantage.
