We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Assistant Manager IFRS 17 Reporting Accountant to join a dynamic and progressive team. The ideal candidate should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of relevant experience and hands-on exposure to IFRS 17. The role requires strong expertise in end-to-end accounting, IFRS 17 implementation and reporting, and financial reporting, along with a solid understanding of IFRS standards and regulatory compliance. Candidates with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and an interest in process improvement are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

1. Own the end-to-end IFRS 17 lifecycle, covering implementation, ongoing accounting, and statutory reporting.
2. Lead IFRS 17 financial controllership, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close and disclosures.
3. Drive technical interpretation and practical application of IFRS 17, embedding requirements into processes and systems.
4. Partner with cross-functional teams, auditors, and stakeholders to ensure strong controls, governance, and compliance.

Requirements:

1. Qualified CA with 3+ years of experience, or MBA/M.Com (Finance) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
2. Minimum 2 years of hands-on IFRS 17 experience, including implementation and ongoing reporting (mandatory).
3. Strong Financial Controllership experience, covering end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, preparation of financial statements, P&L and Balance Sheet ownership.
4. Solid technical accounting expertise with deep understanding of IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 17.
5. Experience in the insurance or financial services sector preferred; current insurance company experience is a plus.
