Job Title
Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Functional & Technical expert to embark on the implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and optimize the platform from a transversal perspective for the different Business Units (Travel Unit and Hospitality) in future. She/he ensures maintainability, sustainability and support of the digital solutions, leveraging industry best practices (Agile delivery methods, Devops) and new solution functionalities (Automation and Artificial Intelligence), to identify new opportunities and to optimize solution delivery.
Main responsibilities:
- Implementation and Migration Support:
- Assist in the transition from the current marketing platform to Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Work closely with IT, marketing, and CRM teams to ensure smooth data migration and to align marketing strategies.
- Ensure proper integration and seamless data flow between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM, Data Cloud, and other connected systems.
- Marketing Cloud Administration & Governance
- Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls in Marketing Cloud.
- Configure and maintain Business Units, IP warming, Sender Authentication Package (SAP), and domain management.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and email deliverability best practices.
- Monitor system performance, usage, and logs, proactively addressing issues
- Platform Optimization & Automation
- Design, develop, and execute marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Audience Builder.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.
- Manage data integration, segmentation strategies and audience targeting to ensure targeted and personalized customer communications.
- Utilize SQL, AMPscript, and API configurations to support advanced use cases.
- Build and maintain complex customer journeys that automate multi-channel marketing communications.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to improve engagement and ROI.
- Develop and maintain scalable processes for campaign automation and lead nurturing programs.
- Agile Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Work with cross-functional teams to align Marketing Cloud capabilities with business objectives.
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases and industry best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, ensure data quality, and support marketing operations and resolve issues within the Marketing Cloud platform.
- Support A/B testing, audience segmentation, and reporting activities.
- Build training materials and relevant documentation and help train the end users
About the ideal candidate
- University degree in Scientific studies, or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of Salesforce experience with the last 5+ years as an expert in Marketing Cloud with a strong understanding of the core Salesforce platform
- Proven experience with transitioning from any marketing platform to Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Marketing Cloud Studios & Builders (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder).
- Knowledge of SQL, AMPscript, APIs, and integrations with Salesforce CRM and Data Cloud is a plus.
- Good understanding of environment management, org strategy, release management and deployment methodologies
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, team work, flexibility, multitasking abilities, and a strong attention-to-detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment either on a team or as an individual contributor
- Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge and experience of Salesforce configuration and administration capabilities (Flow, Process Builders, Lightning Pages, Data Loader, Advance Reporting, In-app Guidance)
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant) are highly desirable. And other Salesforce certifications are preferable (Eg. Advanced Administrator, Communities
- Experience with additional Salesforce tools such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot, or CDP
- Knowledge of other Salesforce products: Einstein, Shield, Quip, MyTrailhead, Tableau CRM, High Velocity Sales will be a plus.
