Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage client’s software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLA’s ensuring client satisfaction

- User Account Creation, deletion, modificatio
- IBM AIX ADMIN
- Apply Naming Convention, Home Directory, Group Creation as per Policy
- User Disabling.
- Access rights
- Monitor Concurrent Logins / Connections
- Monitor System Availability, Disk space, Critical Services Availability, Processor Utilization, Critical errors in the system logs, as applicable , I/O & Network Utilization related to Server.
- Base OS Installation
- Basic OS troubleshooting
- Implementing bug fixes
- Backup Operation and Monitoring
- OS backup with Mksysb
- Manage the password policy. Distribute power user’s operational task to another users.
- Managing Disk space, Processor/Memory/Network/process Utilization related to client/server
- Manage logs files.
- Orderly start-up and shutdown of servers
- Handle local and remote backup and restoration management.
- Vendor coordination.
- Will act as point of contact for any OS issue.
- Coordination with L2/L3/OEM team for troubleshooting and support
