About the Role

We are looking for a skilled IBM iSeries (AS400) Developer with strong hands-on experience in RPG/RPGLE to support and enhance mission-critical enterprise applications. This role involves 24/7 production support, technical triage, debugging, and close collaboration with clients and business teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

Strong hands-on development experience on IBM AS400 / iSeries platform

Expertise in RPG, RPGLE, Free-format RPG, SQLRPGLE

Experience with IBM i Supply Chain / ERP applications (KBM product preferred)

Handle 24/7 IBM i technical support in rotational shifts

Perform technical triage, debug RPG/CL programs, identify root causes, and resolve issues within defined SLAs

Design, develop, and enhance programs using sub-procedures, subroutines, and service programs

Create technical/design documents and explain solutions to clients

Work closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Knowledge of distributed processing and related development tools

RPG / RPGLE / Free-format RPG

SQLRPGLE

CL Programming

Production support & incident management

Debugging & root cause analysis

Client communication & documentation

Nice to Have

Experience with KBM or similar IBM i ERP applications

Exposure to supply chain or ERP modules

ITIL-based support environments
