Job description

Strong hands-on experience with IBM ACE and IBM MQ

Good understanding of installation, configuration, and issue resolution for IBM ACE and IBM MQ

Experience or solid knowledge of IBM ACE version upgrades/migrations

Understanding of unsecured MQ/ACE environments and migration to Secure MQ/ACE (TLS, certificates, security hardening)

Ability to independently deliver tasks with minimal supervision

Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools, platforms, and WoW

Good to Have:

Knowledge or hands-on experience with AMQP and Exposure to AMQP industrialization and messaging patterns

Experience with microservices messaging vs event-streaming concepts

Experience with Gerrit/GitHub and CI/CD practices
