IAM Engineer

The Security Engineer III - IAM will assist with implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting. They provide support to the Security Engineer - Senior on complex troubleshooting situations. Additionally this level assists with new engineering new initiatives.

Principal Accountabilities:
Support - Respond to second level escalation, providing on-call rotation in organization and hands-off changes. Audits and documents changes to the environment. Implements execution for new initiatives and expansion of existing infrastructures. Manages the completion of tickets assigned to the group. 70%
Engineering - Conduct verification of expected operational and technical behaviors. Expand existing capabilities. Lead new initiatives. 30%

Skills & Software Requirements
• Identity management fundamentals (basic architectures, directories, LDAP account management, password management, roles, groups)
• Access management fundamentals (troubleshooting federation and reduced sign-on fundamentals including SAML, Kerberos, and PKI)
• Operational fundamentals (working with event logs, audit logs, access logs, and system logs to diagnose problems)
• Operating systems fundamentals (working knowledge of using Linux and Windows, basic scripting, understanding of DNS)
• Security fundamentals (troubleshooting and working with firewalling, ACLs, and DMZ's)
• Network fundamentals (troubleshooting and working with load balancers, proxies, routing)

Experience in a large, international enterprise preferred. Experience in the financial market or other highly regulated industry highly preferred
