Position Summary

Level: Hyperion P&E Senior Consultant

Experience: 4-8 years

• Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Mumbai/Gurgaon/Kolkata

NOTE: Look for candidates who have already served their Notice Period.

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead the design, build and deliver Oracle cloud FP&A implementations, working with global teams to turn requirements into deliverables. Youll guide junior staff and manage all project phases to ensure timely, high-quality solutions.

Work youll do

As a Senior Consultant in Deloittes Planning/EPBCS/PBCS/PCMCS team, you will:

• Lead end-to-end design and development of Hyperion Planning, Essbase, PBCS, EPBCS, and PCMCS applications
• Drive requirement gathering, project delivery, and risk assessment for complex client engagements
• Design and develop core components, including integrations, calculation scripts, business rules, dashboards, forms, and reports.
• Manage system testing, UAT and Hypercare tasks
• Champion technical excellence and ensure consistent, high-quality results across all phases
• Proactively resolve and escalate critical issues to safeguard project timelines and objectives
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Foster collaboration among leads, onsite teams, and stakeholders to drive solution optimization
• Mentor and empower junior team members, shaping technical and functional capabilities
• Serves as a key liaison between business users and the project's technical team

Qualifications

Must Have:

• 6+ years of relevant work experience with Oracle Planning
• Strong Hands-on experience in Oracle EPBCS or PCMCS and its features
• Experience in EPBCS OOB Modules, Custom and Reporting cubes
• Proven track record leading delivery across EPM Suite projects
• Deep expertise in Business Rules, Forms, Dashboards, Data Integration, Metadata Management and MDX calculations
• Proficient with EPM Automate, Batch/Shell operations, and Groovy scripting
• Proficient in managing user provisioning and security setup in Shared Services
• A strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact with both business and IT-focused clients

Good to Have:

• Demonstrated expertise in prototyping, solution enhancement, and performance optimization
• Experience with ODI, EDMCS, EPRCS or alternative third-party reporting solutions

Education:

• CA/BE/B.Tech degree or equivalent from accredited university
