Role Overview
We are looking for an HR Manager who can independently manage and strengthen our people function from hiring creative talent to building scalable HR systems and maintaining a healthy work culture. This role requires maturity, ownership, and the ability to balance structure with flexibility in a fast-paced agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for creative and marketing roles (Graphic Designers, Video Editors, Strategists, Performance Marketers, etc.)
- Design job descriptions aligned with role clarity and business goals
- Conduct structured interviews and coordinate with functional heads
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline
- Ensure quality hiring with cultural fit and long-term alignment
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Design and execute structured onboarding processes
- Manage employee documentation and compliance
- Maintain employee records and HR databases
- Handle confirmations, appraisals, and exit processes
HR Policies & Process Development
- Draft, implement, and periodically update HR policies
- Build performance management frameworks
- Establish clear role structures, KRAs, and accountability systems
- Ensure discipline and adherence to company standards
Payroll & Compliance
- Manage payroll coordination accurately and on time
- Ensure statutory compliance as applicable
- Handle attendance, leave management, and employee benefits
Employee Grievance Management & Conflict Resolution
- Act as a neutral and trusted point of contact for employee concerns
- Address grievances with fairness, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Conduct structured conversations to resolve workplace conflicts
- Escalate sensitive matters appropriately to leadership when required
- Ensure resolution processes are documented and aligned with company policies
Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Drive employee engagement initiatives
- Strengthen internal communication and team morale
- Act as a bridge between management and employees
- Support leadership in fostering a high-performance yet respectful work culture
Who we are looking for
- 23 years of proven HR experience with NO CAREER GAPS (mandatory)
- Prior experience in a startup or agency environment preferred
- Strong recruitment exposure, especially for non-IT/creative roles
- Demonstrated experience handling employee grievances and conflict resolution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High ownership mindset, outcome-driven, not task-driven
- Strong documentation and process-building ability
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and maturity
- Prior experience with job portals such as LinkedIN, Internshalla, Indeed
What this role is NOT
- It is not an entry-level HR position
- It is not a corporate-only policy maintenance role
- It is not limited to recruitment coordination
