Role Overview

The HR Manager will be responsible for driving core HR functions with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition, Employee Onboarding, Employee Engagement, and People Leadership . The role will also support Vendor Management, HR Operations, Administration, and Payroll coordination .

This position will partner closely with business leaders to build a high-performing, people-first organization in a fast-growing startup environment.

Key Responsibilities 1. Talent Acquisition
  • Own end-to-end recruitment across functions (Tech, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Corporate roles).
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, capabilities needed, and hiring timelines.
  • Manage sourcing strategies, screening, interviews, offer rollouts, and candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline and employer brand.
  • Track and report hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, offer-to-join ratio, and quality of hire.
2. Employee Onboarding & Lifecycle Management
  • Drive seamless onboarding for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes: confirmations, role changes, exits, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and employee data.
3. Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to strengthen culture, morale, and retention.
  • Run feedback mechanisms (surveys, check-ins, pulse surveys) and propose actionable improvement plans.
  • Support performance review cycles, goal setting, and employee development initiatives.
4. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a trusted HR partner to leadership and people managers.
  • Coach managers on people issues, performance management, and team effectiveness.
  • Support organizational planning, workforce strategy, and talent development.
5. Vendor Management
  • Manage and coordinate with HR-related vendors (recruitment agencies, payroll vendors, insurance providers, consultants, etc.).
  • Ensure service quality, timely renewals, compliance, and cost efficiency.
6. Administration & Compliance
  • Oversee HR operations, policies, and administrative processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Manage office-related HR administration in coordination with admin teams.
7. Payroll Support
  • Coordinate with Finance and payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Support salary revisions, incentives, and employee queries related to payroll.

  • Employee engagement and retention metrics
  • Manager and leadership satisfaction
  • Payroll accuracy and timeliness (supporting)
Required Skills & Experience
  • 35 years of experience in HR, with strong exposure to Talent Acquisition and HR Operations .
  • Experience in startups or high-growth environments preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Working knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
