Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an HR Manager to oversee and manage day-to-day HR operations at BatteryPool. This role will manage the full employee lifecycle, payroll coordination, compliance, and engagement initiatives, ensuring smooth HR processes and a positive, productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the HR function end-to-end and act as the single point of contact for all HR matters.
• Manage the complete employee lifecycle hiring handover, onboarding, documentation, HRIS updates, confirmations, and exit formalities.
• Ensure statutory and internal compliance by implementing HR policies, maintaining documentation, and driving the timely completion of organisational processes.
• Coordinate payroll inputs salary revisions, deductions, reimbursements, incentives, and vendor billing, in partnership with Finance.
• Maintain accurate HR data employee records, HR trackers, HRIS, and MIS reports for leadership reviews.
• Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, grievance handling, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Admin, Leadership) to enable smooth HR operations and new-joiner setups.
• Lead employee engagement and communication initiatives events, pulse checks, feedback mechanisms, and culture-building activities.
• Track and report people metrics (performance outcomes, engagement, attrition, training impact) to support leadership decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements and digital tools to make HR more efficient, transparent, and scalable.

Ideal Profile

• 35 years of HR experience, preferably in EV, fintech, or high-growth startups.
• Experienced in talent acquisition and HR operations; Hands-on exposure to HRIS, HR analytics, and employment law/compliance.
• Proven experience in performance management systems (PMS), employee engagement, and HR policy roll-out.
• Comfortable working with HR tech tools and adopting new systems quickly.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• The role requires someone sharp, dependable, and comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment.
