Responsibilities
1) Recruitment and Onboarding:
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job descriptions and requirements.
Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify the best fit for open positions.
Coordinate the onboarding process, ensuring new hires receive necessary training and information to integrate smoothly into the institute.
2) Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their concerns and inquiries in a respectful and timely manner.
- Promote a positive work environment by organizing team-building activities, workshops, and events.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts or misunderstandings among employees, fostering a harmonious workplace.
3) Policy Implementation:
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Ensure consistent application of policies across the institute.
4) Employee Engagement:
- Conduct employee engagement surveys to gather feedback and insights for improving the work environment.
- Propose and implement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and well-being.
5) Legal Compliance:
- Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure the institute's HR practices are compliant.
- Handle employee-related legal matters and maintain accurate documentation.
6) HR Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and databases.
- Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
7) Diversity and Inclusion:
- Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a diverse and equitable workplace.
- Implement strategies to ensure a welcoming environment for employees of all backgrounds.
8) Exit Processes:
- Manage employee separations and offboarding processes, conducting exit interviews to gather feedback.
- Ensure a smooth transition for departing employees and handle necessary administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
Preferred Additional Education:
- A master's degree in MBA in Human Resources.
