Job Description

Role Summary

The Senior HR Lead will manage end-to-end HR for Ajmal Perfumes & will own all aspects of the Human Resources function, partnering with business leadership to drive people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and a high-performance culture across corporate, sales, and retail operations.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

Act as a strategic business partner to leadership on workforce planning, organization design, and people strategy.

Build and scale HR frameworks aligned with business goals.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Oversee end-to-end hiring across Corporate, Sales, Retail, and Support functions.

Drive manpower planning, leadership hiring, succession planning, and employer branding.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

Lead complete employee lifecycle management including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, exits, and payroll coordination.

Drive HR policies, SOPs, HRMS governance, and employee relations.

Performance Management & Talent Development

Design and drive PMS including goal setting, appraisals, reviews, and performance improvement plans.

Partner with leadership on capability building, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.

Sales HR & Retail HR

Lead HR support for Sales & Retail teams across regions.

Drive incentive structures, productivity, engagement, and attrition control for frontline teams.

Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws

Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws including PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishments, CLRA, etc.

Manage audits, inspections, statutory filings, and liaison with legal and external consultants.

Employee Engagement & Culture

Drive engagement, communication, and culture-building initiatives.

Handle sensitive employee relations and disciplinary matters.

Stakeholder Management

Act as a trusted HR partner to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Present HR MIS, dashboards, and people analytics.


Qualifications & Experience

MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent.

1015 years of HR experience, preferably in Retail / FMCG / Consumer brands

Strong knowledge of Sales HR and pan-India HR operations.
