House of Chikankari is a purpose-driven brand focused on reviving and preserving the heritage art of Chikankari while empowering local artisans. We are a fast-growing D2C fashion brand with a strong emphasis on people, processes, and culture.
Roler Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Intern to support our HR team in day-to-day people operations. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations in a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, and interview coordination.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes and maintain employee records.
- Help manage attendance, leave records, and HR documentation.
- Coordinate with new joiners for documentation and induction formalities.
- Assist in employee engagement initiatives and internal communication.
- Support HR operations and compliance-related tasks as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of HR concepts and eagerness to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
