Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Workday HCM Reporting Specialist to join our in-house HRSS team. This role will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and actionable Workday reports and dashboards to support HR operations, leadership decision-making, and compliance needs. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Workday reporting, a deep understanding of HR data, and the ability to partner closely with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Workday HCM reports and dashboards to support HR, Finance, and business leaders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday reporting requests within the organization.
  • Develop and maintain advanced, matrix, and composite reports.
  • Create and manage calculated fields, prompts, and filters to meet complex reporting requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all HR reports.
  • Partner with other HR stakeholders like Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, HR Operations to understand reporting needs and translate them into Workday solutions.
  • Support workforce metrics and analytics, including headcount, attrition, diversity, compliance, and organizational insights.
  • Manage report security and access, ensuring appropriate role-based data visibility.
  • Maintain documentation for report definitions, data sources, and reporting standards.
  • Promote self-service reporting by enabling and training HR users where appropriate.

Required Qualifications

  • 45 years of overall experience in HRIS, HR analytics, or HR operations.
  • 23 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM Reporting in an in-house environment.
  • Strong expertise in Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Reports.
  • Proficiency in calculated fields and understanding of Workday business objects.
  • Solid knowledge of HR data structures and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience managing report security and data governance.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple internal reporting requests in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global or multi-location organizations.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and regulatory reporting.
  • Prior experience supporting Workday post-implementation optimization.
