Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Ahmedabad Head Office

Travel: Regular travel to Rajasthan project sites

Department: Human Resources

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and people-centric HR Generalist to support our upcoming Rajasthan project. The role will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance mapping, and overall HR operations & administration. The position will be based at our Ahmedabad Head Office with frequent travel to Rajasthan for hiring activities, employee coordination, and site-level HR support.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for bulk and critical positions across project locations.
  • Plan and execute bulk hiring drives, walk-ins, and local recruitment campaigns.
  • Handle campus hiring including coordination with colleges, placement cells, and job fairs.
  • Source candidates through job portals, referrals, consultants, vendors, and social media.
  • Coordinate with project, operations, and site teams to understand manpower needs and timelines.
  • Conduct resume screening, preliminary interviews, interview coordination, and selection follow-ups.
  • Ensure timely offer rollouts, joining formalities, and onboarding coordination.

Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage smooth onboarding for new joiners including documentation and induction.
  • Act as an HR point of contact for employees at HO and project sites.
  • Handle employee queries related to HR policies, attendance, leave, and basic grievances.
  • Support employee confirmation, transfers, exits, and full & final settlements.

Employee Engagement & Performance Support

  • Support employee engagement initiatives at HO and project locations.
  • Assist in performance mapping, appraisal coordination, and review processes.
  • Coordinate training programs, inductions, and soft-skill interventions as required.
  • Promote a positive work culture and ensure employee connect at multi-location sites.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain HR records, employee files, and statutory documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain HR MIS, recruitment trackers, attendance data, and reports.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, processes, and internal guidelines.
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance documentation as required.
  • Coordinate with vendors and consultants for HR-related activities.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in bulk hiring and general HR operations.
  • Exposure to campus recruitment, employee engagement, and HR administration.
  • Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to Rajasthan project locations.
  • Proficiency in job portals, MS Excel, and basic HR MIS reporting.

Qualification & Experience
