About the Role


A top-ranked CBSE Senior Secondary School in West Delhi is hiring an experienced HR professional with strongDSEA/DSERknowledge and priorClasses IXII schoolexperience. Youll lead day-to-day HR for teaching and non-teaching staff, covering compliance, staffing, attendance/leave governance, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training coordination, payroll inputs, and HR reporting/ERP.


Key Responsibilities (summary)


  • Compliance (DSEA/DSER):Policies, service files, statutory registers, audit/inspection readiness, reporting
  • Workforce planning:Annual staffing plan, succession/replacements, substitute teacher pipeline
  • Attendance & leave:Daily monitoring, discipline as per policy, weekly trend reporting
  • Recruitment & onboarding:PRT/TGT/PGT + non-teaching + contract (end-to-end hiring)
  • Performance management:Annual review cycle, ACR/APAR-style records, improvement actions
  • Training:Staff training calendar + plan and coordinate mandatory compliance training tracking (POSH, safety, drills, etc.)
  • Employee relations:Grievances, discipline documentation, HR communications, benefits support
  • Payroll & lifecycle:Monthly inputs, statutory coordination (PF/ESI/etc. as applicable), exits/retirements
  • Systems & reporting:ERP (ENTAB preferred), HR dashboards/MIS, SOPs for process efficiency


Requirements


  • 5+ years HR/Admin, with3+ years in a CBSE Senior Secondary school (IXII)preferred
  • StrongDSEA/DSERcompliance and documentation/audit readiness
  • Experience across recruitment, attendance/leave governance, performance reviews, ER, training tracking
  • ERP/HRMS experience (ENTAB preferred); strong Google Workspace/MS Office; strong English
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable using AI productivity tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) and automation tools for reporting, documentation, and process efficiency.
  • Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills (English)


Experience & Education Requirements

  • Graduate required; BA, MA, PGDM in HR preferred.HR/payroll/compliance certifications are a plus
  • 5+years HR/Administration experience; 3+ years in a CBSE Senior Secondary school (IXII) strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with DSEA/DSER compliance, documentation standards, and inspection/audit readiness.
  • Experience managing recruitment, onboarding, attendance/leave governance, workforce continuity, performance reviews, and employee relations.
  • Experience coordinating staff training and tracking compliance completion (POSH, disaster management, etc.).
