Human Resources Generalist

Apave International is looking for a Senior HR Generalist with 810 years of solid, hands-on HR experience who can independently manage end-to-end HR operations for an assigned Business Unit. This role requires a mature HR professional with strong judgment, operational depth, and the ability to take day-to-day HR decisions independently. The position is fulltime & based in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai

Role Overview

As a Senior HR Generalist, you will be the HR point of contact for one Business Unit, responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle, payroll coordination, HR documentation, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as HR SPOC for an assigned Business Unit
• Manage onboarding, confirmations, role changes, and exits
• Handle all HR documentation and employee records
• Coordinate and validate monthly payroll inputs
• Address employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies
• Maintain HR MIS, trackers, and support audits
• Support performance cycles, engagement initiatives, and HR programs

What Were Looking For

• 810 years of experience as an HR Generalist / Senior HR Executive
• Proven experience managing HR operations independently
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and Indian labour laws
• Mature, grounded professional with sound decision-making ability
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and confidentiality
• Proficiency in MS Excel and HR documentation
