Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Generalist with 2-3 years of relevant HR experience, who will play a key role in managing end-to-end HR functions, including HR Operations, Recruitment, Employee Engagement, and Team Management. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, process-driven, and capable of supporting business growth while ensuring a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, documentation, confirmations, exits, and full & final settlements.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records documentation in HR systems/tools.
- Handle attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
- Draft, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and process improvements.
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance readiness at all times.
2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for multiple roles across departments.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and define job descriptions.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.
- Screen profiles, conduct initial HR interviews, coordinate technical/managerial rounds, and manage offer rollouts.
- Maintain recruitment trackers, reports, and hiring metrics.
- Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
3. Team Management & Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employees for HR-related queries and concerns.
- Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters professionally.
- Support managers in performance management, feedback processes, and employee development
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, team activities, and culture-building programs.
4. Performance & HR Initiatives
- Support performance appraisal cycles and goal-setting processes.
- Assist in designing and implementing incentive plans and reward & recognition programs.
- Participate in employer branding initiatives and internal communication activities.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of HR operations, labor laws, and compliance.
- Proven experience in recruitment and stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-handling abilities.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Hands-on experience in HRMS platforms, specifically Zoho People, MS Excel, and documentation.
- Leadership mindset with the ability to manage and guide a team.
