Job Description
We are seeking a proactive HR Executive to join our Global HR Operations team, supporting our Canadian clients and stakeholders. In this role, you will manage end-to-end IT recruitment and HR operational activities aligned with Canadian business hours.
You will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding IT talent for Canadian projects, while ensuring smooth HR operations including contract management, background verification, and employment documentation all delivered with a client-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Recruitment (Canada-focused)
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for IT roles supporting Canadian projects.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Monster, and other job portals.
- Screen, schedule, and coordinate interviews with Canadian hiring managers (across time zones).
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience with timely communication and feedback.
HR Operations & Contractor Management:
- Handle contract extensions, rate changes, and client approvals for contractors in Canadian projects.
- Liaise with Canadian client managers for timely approvals and documentation.
- Initiate and track Background Verification (BGV) for new hires and existing contractors.
- Maintain accurate and confidential BGV records as per compliance standards.
Documentation & Employee Records:
- Prepare and manage employment letters, contract letters, and related documents for current and past employees.
- Ensure all Canadian project-related HR documentation is accurately maintained.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 35 years of experience in HR with a strong focus on IT recruitment and HR operations.
- Experience working in night shifts supporting international clients (preferably North America/Canada).
- Familiarity with Canadian employment terms and contracting practices is a plus.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, and HRMS tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup with strong time-management skills.
