Job Title: HR Director

Department: Administration, HR, Security, Customs

Location: GIDC - Sachin, Surat, Gujarat


Position Overview: The HR Director will spearhead the HR, Admin, Security, and All govt departments related activities including Customs, audit, legal , regulatory etc departments while providing oversight to the purchase and accounts departments through dotted line reporting. This senior leadership role demands a candidate with extensive experience in API manufacturing, particularly within the Gujarat region, and a strong background in dealing with regulatory and government bodies.

Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and manage the HR, Admin, Security, and Customs including liaising with high ranked and critical Govt offices departments.
  • Provide strategic oversight to all departments.
  • Perform team-building activities and develop synergies between various teams to ensure they work in a synchronized manner, aligned with the companys goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, liaising with government bodies, customs, local police, and legal consultants as needed.


Human Resources & Administration:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness within team.
  • Stabilising implementation of HRMS.


Security & Compliance:

  • Ensure the safety and security of the company premises, assets, and personnel.
  • Develop and implement security protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance and make a connect with local, state, and federal regulatory bodies.


Customs & Regulatory Affairs:

  • Overlook all customs-related activities, ensuring smooth import/export processes.
  • Liaise with customs authorities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee interactions with regulatory bodies, ensuring all company practices meet the necessary standards.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 25 years of experience in an API manufacturing or similar industry setup in Gujarat.
  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in a similar or larger setup.


Skills:

  • Experience in team building and fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Strong expertise in HR and administrative functions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and government bodies, including customs, local police, and legal consultants.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple departments and lead cross-functional teams.


Education:

  • Relevant educational background in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
