About the role

Our client, a globally recognized financial services firm with a strong international footprint, is seeking an HR Director to join its India leadership team.

This is a pivotal strategic role operating within a dynamic, high-energy, and collaborative environment, with responsibility for leading and managing the entire HR function.

Summary of the role and key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives
• Lead the full HR function, delivering both strategic initiatives and operational excellence
• Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and development
• Drive talent, engagement, succession planning, reward, and organizational development initiatives
• Lead and develop the HR team while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and leverage data to inform decision-making

Key skills required

• Extensive senior HR leadership experience in a fast-paced, complex environment
• Proven ability to deliver strategic and operational results
• Strong HR business partnering skills with commercial acumen
• Experience leading and developing multi-disciplinary HR teams
• Solid knowledge of employment law, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
• Influential, data-driven communicator with a proactive, results-focused mindset
