The Role

As an HR Consultant , your primary responsibility is to own and manage relationships with the clients assigned to you.You will act as the single-point HR partner, understanding each clients business context, culture, and priorities, and delivering outcomes by running and improving their HR function on their behalf. This role offers exposure to multiple organisations, leadership styles, and business environments simultaneously. We like to think of it as five years of HR experience across five different companies, condensed into one role!



Key Responsibilities

1. Client Relationship Ownership (~20%)

  • Own end-to-end relationships with assigned clients
  • Act as the primary HR advisor and point of contact for leadership teams
  • Build credibility by understanding the business, culture, and people challenges
  • Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen HR practices and deepen the engagement
  • Balance client expectations, priorities, and delivery quality

2. HR Process Ownership & Execution (~80%)

You will own, run, and continuously improve the HR function for your clients, including:

  • HR Process Ownership: Structure and manage core HR processes across the employee lifecycle
  • HR Operations & Governance: Oversee HR operations including documentation, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance
  • Performance & Talent Processes: Drive goal-setting, performance reviews, and appraisal cycles aligned to business objectives
  • Employee Experience & Engagement: Design and execute engagement initiatives suited to organisational culture and maturity
  • Policy & Framework Implementation: Implement HR policies, frameworks, and tools tailored to each clients context
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks in existing HR practices and implement stronger processes
  • Stakeholder Advisory: Guide managers and employees on HR matters with sound judgement and clarity
  • Compliance Coordination: Ensure alignment with applicable labour laws through structured coordination


You will spend time at client locations (typically twice a week) to stay closely connected to leadership teams and on-ground realities.
