This is a hands-on HR Business Partner role with a strong focus on recruitment. You will own hiring end-to-end and work closely with the founders and senior team to build strong design, BD, and project teams. This is not a policy-heavy HR role. Its a people, hiring, and execution role.
Hiring (Primary Responsibility)
- Own end-to-end recruitment across design, business development, project, and support roles.
- Work closely with HR Head, founders and functional heads to understand exactly who we need and why.
- Source actively using referrals, LinkedIn, consultants, and direct outreach.
- Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, manage feedback, and close offers.
- Ensure hiring timelines are met.
- Create a clean, professional candidate experience that reflects Unfolds culture.
HR Business Partnering
- Be a HR partner for board, for founders and leaders on people matters.
- Support onboarding so new hires settle in quickly and clearly.
- Support performance conversations, feedback, and role clarity.
- Help reinforce a culture of ownership, accountability, and professionalism.
HR Operations
- Manage core HR processes like documentation, confirmations, exits, basic compliance.
- Maintain hiring and people data for visibility and decision-making.
- Help implement policies simply and practically.
- 48 years of experience in HRBP and/or recruitment-heavy HR roles.
- Strong hands-on hiring experience (mid-level and senior roles).
- Experience working in fast-moving environments - startups, design firms, real estate, construction, or similar.
- Someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity and pace.
Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai
Work Week: 5-day work week
