The Role: Executive/Senior Executive Talent Acquisition
Purpose of the role
The HRBP will partner closely with business leaders at Alimento Agro Foods to drive peoples initiatives aligned with business goals. The role requires strong exposure to FMCG operations, plant/field workforce dynamics, and hands-on execution across core HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Partnership
- Act as a core member of the business leadership team, contributing to business strategy, annual operating plans, and people forecasts.
- Translate business priorities into integrated people strategies covering talent, structure, capability, cost, and culture.
- Use workforce analytics to anticipate talent risks, productivity gaps, and attrition trends, and proactively recommend solutions.
Organizational Effectiveness & Design
- Lead organization design and restructuring initiatives to support growth, cost optimization, or transformation agendas.
- Drive role clarity, span of control, and governance frameworks aligned to business scalability.
- Partner with leaders to build agile teams and future-ready organizational models.
Talent & Leadership Strategy
- Own the talent agenda for assigned business units, including succession planning, leadership pipeline, and critical role identification.
- Coach senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, decision-making, and impact on people.
- Enable differentiated talent strategies for high performers and critical skill roles.
Performance & Productivity Enablement
- Embed a performance-driven culture by aligning goals, KRAs, and reward mechanisms with business outcomes.
- Challenge leaders on performance rigor, low performance management, and capability gaps.
- Drive productivity improvement initiatives through workforce planning and role optimization.
Culture, Change & Transformation
- Act as a change leader during mergers, expansions, policy shifts, or business transformation programs.
- Shape and reinforce desired culture, leadership behaviors, and values through structured interventions.
- Lead communication strategies to ensure alignment, transparency, and employee confidence during change.
Risk, Governance & Compliance Advisory
- Advise leadership on people-related risks including compliance exposure, employee relations, and reputational impact.
- Ensure HR governance frameworks are consistently applied while balancing business flexibility.
- Act as the escalation point for sensitive and complex employee matters.
HR as a Value-Creating Function
- Move HR from a transactional role to a value-adding strategic partner, continuously improving HR processes and impact.
- Measure and demonstrate HRs contribution through people metrics, engagement outcomes, and business performance indicators.
- Partner with COEs to customize HR solutions rather than apply one-size-fits-all programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 45 years of HRBP / Generalist experience in FMCG or food/Agro-based organizations.
- Strong understanding of sales force HR, plant HR, and field workforce management.
- Working knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial FMCG environment with a hands-on approach.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institute preferred.
